things that should be getting done vs. things that are going on in my head
May 23rd, 2009It’s spring. It’s nice out. I don’t want to study. I don’t know why I thought it would be smart to take a condensed college course during spring. I should be following the not so secret message in the words: spring break. Instead, I have a midterm in a silly business math course in a few days that will be harder than I’m anticipating. I should be studying for that.
Instead I am
- Making homemade pasta with homemade pasta sauce
- Buying a picture frame for a 3 year belated Mother’s Day present for my Mum
- Thinking about making microwave popcorn
- Playing with my camera’s remote and also with Photoshop
- Browsing new wordpress themes
- Helping the boyfriend design a website for a friend of his
- Thinking about movies I’d like to be watching… right now.
- Wondering if there’s any Twilight fan fiction out there that I’d be interested in reading After a quick google, I can tell there definitely is not.
- Thinking about ordering the new Jamie Oliver cookbook… I don’t own any of his other cookbooks but I also don’t know why I wouldn’t, so maybe I should. Is what I’m saying.
- Contemplating whether or not reading the rest of “In Defense of Food” and eating microwave popcorn (it’s organic) would be incongruous and give me bad dreams. Maybe only if I put that Kernels “dill pickle” flavour on it.
So… I’m going to go do one of the many things that don’t involve studying. Is that really a surprise?
