This blog is now over a year old. A lot has happened in that year - a year in which I had intended to write a blog, regularly. And then life took over.

I really should be writing a paper for my management class right now. MANAGEMENT CLASS? What kind of douche-wad takes a management class? That’s what I would have asked myself a year ago.

I haven’t sat down to write a paper in a few years. The post-university under-employed years. The years that feel like they have finally come to a close, and not just because, oh hello, recession.

So anyway, I should be sitting here writing my paper but instead I’m trying to figure out everything else I may even be remotely possibly interested in doing first (like learning what the keyboard shortcut for italics is on the macbook), and then letting it nag at me until I do it - thus prolonging the inevitable paperwriting (probably pushing that action into the overnight hours).

A year. It has gone by. I was going to make a list of the gargantuan changes that have happened in my life in the last year, but maybe I will save it for another week, then it can be an even more dramatic birthday post… duh duh duhhhh.
