the platform

Last week I had my first invitation to do mediumship from the platform. The reviews have been fantastic. Last weekend, I had my first invitation to give readings to people outside of my regular group. I did it with a partner who is just as new to all of the ded ppl stuff as I am, and there was a miss and some definite hits. It was a pretty cool afternoon. Today I had an invitation to join a professional medium at her house, which is not surprisingly only 3 blocks from mine (as is another world renowned psychic), for a meditation. Then, she invited me to join her on the platform in July. In front of… strangers. Like, the general public, yo. THAT is pretty insane.

I think it’s going to be a good summer. My intention is to work ridiculously hard, do a lot of yoga, and to be able to run 10km during my lunch hour. Right now I can do over 5 with room to spare for grabbing a lunch, changing (twice) and generally cleaning up. But IF I could go a)faster and b)farther that would be most excellent… although I can only really see that happening if the current weather conditions of cool and moist were to hold for the entire summer. That seems unlikely.

We’re celebrating our 3rd hanging-out-iversary this week. Interestingly, the 3rd wedding anniversary is traditionally celebrated with leather. There has been a certain leather vendor from whom the boyfriend has been interested in acquiring a piece of crafted leather with a table set up in the public pedway system that goes through the building I work in…all week. Now that I’m armed with this extremely useful knowledge of traditional gifts – I bet she won’t be there tomorrow (vagueries to conceal possible surprises).

It’s been 3 really, really fast years. I couldn’t have hoped for a better hanger-outer-er.
