Last week I was reading Dooce and she said

As far as giving away my Meat is Murder, Tasty, Tasty Murder t-shirt? Never, although I could be tempted to send it to a vegetarian who promises to wear it to a vegan restaurant.

Tonight I ate dinner at the Coup. There was a fellow at the next table over wearing his Meat is Murder t-shirt. I think it’s funny, and I like it when web things become real life things. Also, I get the reference to the Smiths.

1. This week marks the first time ever that my mother cooked with fresh garlic and/or ginger
2. My sister graduated third in her class of 350 last night. 3.5 hour ceremony. 350 degrees inside the stadium. My sister is a smarty pants.
3. ITomorrow I am going to our cottage (to take pictures) for the first time in ten years
4. I was at Wal-Mart the minute the door opened for the first and last time in my life today. I did go in, but I didn’t buy anything. I will hunt a Wii Fit on this trip. Maybe even using a Wal-Mart staff discount. That makes me feel kinda shitty. I hate that place. But Wii Fit!!! Clearly I have no choice. I heart active-play games.
5. My siblings and I are going to be taking our first picture together in at least six years this weekend.
6. I have gone six days without eating any kind of fish or seafood. A lie. I had my first coastal seafood feed last night: barbecued haddock. No anaphylactic allergy attack. Daumage.

on my prom night… my date threw up and disappeared… it rained… there was a party that everyone went to… it was outside… it sucked because it was raining.

i hope my sister had a better time at her prom than i did at mine.
