bad habits
May 11th, 2008Greetings Internets,
My neglectful bad habits will soon come to an end. I think.
I just made a salad dressing. A salty one, but a delicious one, and I would like to share it with y’alls. Mostly, I just want to have somewhere to find it later.
Okie dokie. So the recipe is a morph of the Shivananda Ashram dressing recipe and the recipe from The Joy of Juicing for Sunflower Salad Dressing (which you can totally find for free on page 134 from Google Books - wicked, wicked way to take recipe books for a testdrive!). The recipe is supposed to be similar to the vipassana recipe, but since I’ve never had it, I don’t know how similar it is.
Sunflower Tamari Salad Dressing
approx 1 cup of sunflower seeds
1/4 cup of tamari
1/8 cup of lemon juice
1/8 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 package of soft tofu
Blend in blender. Eat! Add other stuff! It’s delicious.
I’m going to go have some on some baby greens with some fresh bison bacon right now. Yum!
