the flamers vs the snarks

April 23rd, 2008

i’m watching hockey right now. while i knit. how canadian! my wrists are too sore to use the shift key to make capital letters. boo for you, interwebs.

it’s official. i am changing gigs. same employer, hopefully *crosses fingers* fewer whiners. also, this is a trial period for me. a foray into accounting for a bit. if i love it, for life… if not, straight back to human resources at a more people friendly, less financially driven place of employment. i am so politically correct when writing about work online. come see mee after a beer.

watching peasant-vision quality hockey is confusing. sometimes i can see up to 3 pucks on the ice. not cool.

in celebration of earth day, i haven’t used my regular laptop all week. just the eeepc. it uses like, no electricity. to counter effect all the energy savings, i have the tv on for once. i’ll turn it off as soon as a canucky team is out of the play offs. it’s captivating.

so is the bachelor. i love that show. how could anyone not love it? it’s the perfect combination of gossip, lust, staged conversations, awkward team dating, and household personality conflicts (also staged). it’s empty and pointless. what’s not to like?
